2019 is finally over! But what has happened here now? Apparently there is a new/old blogname. The move has been on my mind for a long time and yes it has to do with the months of mourning. Maybe I will go into it in the future, but so much is said, it has prevented me from posting.
The last year has been intense and I am really glad that it is over. Even if the grief and all the other problems don’t go away, 2020 finally means something for me to do again. I put everything on hold last year and even though a lot has been done in the meantime, my grandma’s dementia still remains. She needs more and more help. A contribution on the topic of dementia is in the works. I have noticed that there are not many people my age who already care for relatives.
Another part of the innovation concerns my Instagram account. From now on there will be two accounts. A private one (the previous one) and a new one just for the blog etc. There are several reasons for this step. On the one hand I want to share things with my private Facebook profile, which often have nothing to do with the blog etc. and then there is the language. I can understand that for some people it’s strange that my Instagram account has been mainly in English so far. There are many in my family and friends who are not from Germany or don’t know the language. So it came that I changed to english a few years ago. A blog in 2 languages is easy with the right plugins but an Instagram account, that will be a chaos. So to cut a long story short, the Instagram Accountwill be mainly in German (there you can find all important information about the blog and other projects) and my private account will be in English as before.
In the next 3 weeks I will finally start renovating my apartment, continue working in my grandmother’s apartment (to make it dementia-proof), go to Mainz at least once and hopefully new rat noses will finally move in. A lot for three weeks and yes I am worried that I won’t be able to do everything in the time. But the chaos with time pressure just belongs to me. On Instagram you can follow the whole thing. Here we go again.
